Done here too. Happy to help. I hope there is no risk of any archive junkings as a result of this either.

Done - seems a pity that as archives are moving away from London due to costs such a valuable resource will be lost.

It is bizarre. The archive stays in Leeds but the archive office is closed and London handles all enquiries, :-(

The staff at Leeds have all been there sometime and KNOW the material - I'm afraid it tends to be that the staff at ITN Source in London or more or less sales people with targets to hit... there are exceptions before I get show down in flames but only a few. I urge one and all to sign this petition.

I did sign the petition, but I am not certain it registered as it appeared to reject the pass code. I tried again and it stated that I could not register more than once.
Still, it is always important to have archivists that know their way round, especially as they are 'on site'.

I Have signed as well a few days ago.I Agree, seems as these researchers have been handeling the material for some time, and would be a great shame to see this resource cut short.I as well would hope others would opt to sign this petition! All For A Worthy Cause!
Cheers,Lance.
