As a newcomer here, I hope no-one finds it a cheek if I ask a question and show my ignorance! I was wondering what the status of a TV play called "Jack Point" was. It was written by Colin Welland and was, I think, part of an "Armchair Theatre"-type series broadcast by the BBC. I hope someone can help. Charles.

But does it still exist in the archives? I've been offered a copy of the soundtrack, but will I ever have the chance to see this play?

Yes, Jack Point exists in the archives on it's original format. Whether or not we ever get a chance of seeing it again or not is another matter - about the same as the chance of seeing the large quantities of other worthy material that just sits on a shelf in an archive somewhere...
