Anyone remember this show where the contestants had to survive certain fetes to be the winner, the commentator was always very funny when one them thought he/she had sussed it, it was similar to THE CRYSTAL MAZE.

I may have solved it myself, it was a title something like NOW GET ME OUT OF THIS or HERE, thanks to seeing an ad for Im A CELEBRITY GET ME OUT OF HERE?

Presumably you mean "Now Get Out of That" - two teams competing over the same terrain but filmed at different times, with joky commentary from Bernard Falk. Was Oxford v Cambridge for the first series or two, but ended up as UK v USA. I believe that Nicholas Crane (of Coast, etc.) was in an early series.

I recall the teams being dumped in Welsh Wales and having to get somewhere. Does it survive ?

OK. Quite a few exist at the BBC but there are a few missing ones (but there are off-air VHS copies of these though).
