I don't know if these are considered a TV programme or not, (were they part of the ITN news), but I was wondering...
Do any of the 1980's christmas ITV? football results exist, I'm thinking of the ones with transitions between League Divisions marked by a rolling christmas pudding at the top of the screen instead of a rolling football.
Supposedly in the mid-eighties someone inexperienced at reading the football results, read them out of sync eg instead of "League Division One (pause) Manchester United 2, Arsenal 1" read "League Division One, Manchester United 2 (pause)" and continued in this fashion until left with one isolated team at the bottom of the screen. Can anyone confirm that this actually happened and does a recording of it exist?

Reginald Bosanquet mentions in his autobiography that one newscaster was handed a late soccer result at the end of a bulleting, and triumphantly announced:
'Division 1; Arsenal 2'
and signed off!
Chances are this is lost........

By the way, I meant 'bulletin' not 'bulleting' - I can spell normally! (And lots of other words too!) ;D
