Hello all,
im fairly sure this has been covered before, but I cant remember for the life of me. Does the armchair theatre, 'the hothouse', featuring Diana Rigg still exist officially?
Also, are there any other pre avengers Rigg appearances that still exist?
Thanks in advance!

Also, are there any other pre avengers Rigg appearances that still exist? Thanks in advance! According to lostshows.com it still exists in the archives. Isn't Harry H. Corbett in this one as well? I don't know about Rigg's other pre-'Avengers' TV roles, but you could probably check them on the same site.

That is excellent news! Cheers mate Now i just have to try and hunt down a copy............ You're welcome and good luck with your search. I guess a DVD collection of surviving 'Armchairs' - so to speak - wouldn't be regarded as a great commercial prospect, even if the rights could be cleared with minimal hassle and expense.

A set - or best of - the surviving Armchair Theatres would be excellent. More chance of Network doing it than the BBC doing a box set of Wednesday Plays I think...

A set of these would indeed be excellent! I cant see it happening especially soon though. I watched 'I can destroy the sun' for the first time the other day and itsa really good episode.

She made her screen debute as an estate agent in a long forgotten ITC series called ''The Sentimental Agent'' IIRC
This may well follow on as a DVD release now that its parent series "Man of The World" is being released by Network

The Emperor Jones at the NFT a few months back was excellent and, of course, there is Lena My Lena and the Donald Pleasance Judy Cornwell one the name of which escapes me. Those three alone would make a great release but I can't see it happening...
