Hello Gregory H, According to lostshows.com online database: "176 episodes are missing or incomplete out of a total of 188." 12 editions existing out of a run of 188,sadly not a very good survival rate. From the little material I have seen from early Saturday Scene, was a great show.Am unsure if the mentioned Eiffel Tower Cake segment is among the material existing for this series. Would love to see some of the material from the 73 era of the show, as only lasted a few episodes. I was able to find a few clips on YouTube from Saturday Scene and the later Supersonic Saturday Scene,Enjoy: "Gary Glitter-Wins Saturday Scene Best Male Artist Of 1975 plus Papa Um Mow Mow" www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2cEI3dH0CE&fmt=18"ITN Supersonic Saturday Scene interview of Roger Taylor (of QUEEN!). (c) ITN" www.youtube.com/watch?v=isA9sblIsbM&fmt=18"Guys n Dolls singing 'Lets All Get Together' from the Saturday Scene Awards TV Show" www.youtube.com/watch?v=yW7JPPzHn7M&fmt=18I hope this has been of some assistance here. Cheers,Lance.

Make a note of this little fact in your diaries, kiddies - before the thought police decide to erase from history the fact of his winning such an award!

FWIW, Saturday Scene wasn't a programme as such, it was a collection of extended pre-recorded links. That means that the surviving "editions" are literally just the links. In many cases, the links for the next week were recorded on the tape used for the previous week.
