794 people have read this thread. 29 have replied, no one except Simon has said he is going.
I understand and appreciate that people can't come for a number of reasons - I'm not criticising you guys who can't make it. This is a specialist event, Birmingham can be hard to get to; I know people have other commitments.
However, BUT, I'm still waiting for an answer to the original question - who is coming?
Only one person on this whole website has so far said he is coming and the event was his idea!!
All I want to know is who is coming - we do events to raise money for the RNLI and if no one comes we can't achieve that aim.
I want to know because if we have low turnouts when we do specialist events then it will stop us doing more of that type of event, we will go back to doing our normal events.
So stop criticising me for complaining and answer the question - who is coming? Just post if you are going next Saturday lol. I have a TV crew coming to film and at the moment we have 6 people in the audience!! lol

I would have loved to have come, but at the moment I'm up to my eyes in writing. I've sent you a PM, Chris, as I might be able to publicise the event a little.

Thanks for your help Ian, much appreciated.
Sadly though I think my request is in vain. Clearly no one is coming who frequents this board lol, apart from Simon.
But I do appreciate the kind words of encouragement from people who can't make it.

I've not said I'm coming on here because I've already said I'm coming on the Mausoleum Club, and hadn't looked at this thread since before the 'who's coming?' message was posted. Is that OK? For the record, I will be coming with three friends, and I know of a fourth who's hoping to make it.

Having just spent hours on the internet to get the cheapest rail package, I can now declare that I am coming to what will be my first event. It should be cool to put faces to names and afterwards I'll do a report on the event for my website, Wiped, so all in all I'm really looking forward to it.

Yes I'll be there.
I thoroughly recommend the kal events.
The speakers are fantastic.
If you've never been you'll get a warm welcome.
