whats the latest on the show being brought out on DVD I thought problems over the music rights made a DVD release unlikely, to say the least. Weren't repeat showings on UK Gold edited to remove songs which couldn't be cleared? |

This series (on DVD) just isn't going to happen. To the best of my knowledge, there are far too many problems with music clearance to make it viable or likely. As for the UK Gold versions, if one was also to cut out the unclearable music too, there wouldn't be a great deal left to release!! A great shame, but that's how it is.  |

By 2030 I'll probably be more concerned with dodging the coffin than expecting an uncut release of Shoestring!! ;D
