Cool to see this again, but does anyone see a parallel with this and the guy with the toads in The League Of Gentlemen ??

One of Mike Leigh's greatest plays! Believe it or not, a "director's cut" of "Nuts in May"exists- which apparently has at least 30 extra minutes of footage. From what I can remember Leigh arranged a screening of it at NFT many years ago. Now that would be great to see.
