Sorry to bump this old thread up but did this ever turn out to be an actual missing episode and if so what one? There were two episodes recovered as a result of this - "Brotherly Love" (27/1/65) and "A Matter of Give and Take" (3/2/65). In think the original eBay sale was for the former of these.

Thanks for the info Andrew. Does anyone know if episode 2 of series 1 has even been repeated on TV or released officially?

"Limping Rabbit" was never repeated - the only episodes to be released on video were "Four of a Kind", "Handle With Care" and "Friday Night".

Sorry if this is blatantly obvious to all the Z Fans. I have copies of the following episodes on disc. Are the following shows episodes that have been officially released. 4 OF A KIND LIMPING RABBIT HANDLE WITH CARE A STAB IN THE DARK FRIDAY NIGHT SUSPENDED FOUND ABANDONED THE BEST DAYS A LOT OF FUSS FOR 15 QUID RELATIVE VALUES BREAKAGE In my opinion, they have stood the test of time well. It was nice to sit down and watch these. As with a lot of old TV stuff, MUCH more atmospheric in B&W.

I agree. All the BEEB would have to do is show a couple of random episodes again and advertise the fact that a couple of DVDs are now available. Theyve released some crap over the years. Series like Z CARS would obviously sell well. Doesnt take a Marketing genius to work that out.

Theyve released some crap over the years. Series like Z CARS would obviously sell well. Doesnt take a Marketing genius to work that out. It would sell well to many of us over the age of 30, but unfortunately as with it's TV output these days, the BBC seem to have very little interest in catering for those of us over a certain age. Z Cars certainly deserves proper treatment too - clean them up (pictures and sound) and apply VidFire like the Doctor Who DVD's and they would look wonderful.
