Hi all,
I may be barking up the wrong tree here, but if you don't ask...
Last night, I watched 'Threads' on DVD - a BBC drama from 1983-4 roughly, about the after-effects of a nuclear war. Towards the end, set about 13 years on, a group of people are seen watching a video tape of the children's programme, 'Words and Pictures.' It occurred to me that a lot of children's tv was junked - could this be a missing fragment?
It was about a minute long, very poor quality black and white picture, but very good sound - presumably it was electronically 'damaged' to signify the effects of radiation and wear on the tape.
The episode was about skeletons, with a picture of a cat's skeleton, and voiceover and in-vision from a female presenter.
I guess this is probably known about and accounted for, but if you don't ask, you'll never know.
Any thoughts or ideas welcome!
James
