I've read on here and in magazines about various episodes going walkabout from the Blue Peter production offices. I seem to remember that Tenth Planet part 4 went this way. Does anyone know what others were taken from here and from the archives.

THis is a commonly held myth that has no basis in fact.

The BP office held its own separate film vault and recording/viewing facilities for many years.

It was disbanded after Biddy Baxter retired and an email was sent to the BBC Archives asking if they wanted the film material returned.

It was assumed that all the stock was duplicates, and not masters, and it was all skipped in the early 1990s. Material had been routinely junked before then for years.

There is no evidence to suggest that anything was taken / stolen / lost / borrowed from the office.

When in office as Editor Richard Marson made extensive efforts to find out the truth and that is the sad truth, it was junked as a duplicate print.
