Type Popscene invision in google I was lucky enough to get several POTP (Fluff versions) from the late sixties in a batch of reel to reel tapes on eBay several years ago (plus some from a work colleague) all from 1967 - 1973. Does anyone know of a way of accurately dating the shows?. Obviously you can get a rough idea from the records played, just wondering if anyone knows of a site that goes into detail.

Talking of the late great Alan Freeman.... I have the following original POTPs from 1972...
2nd January 1st and 8th April 10th June (43 mins) 29th July (top 17) 12th August (1/2 hour segment) 2nd September (20min segment missing) 23rd September (Alans final show)
Anyone know of any more from this year being in existance ?

Hi Stephen, sorry for delay replying, I forgot Id posted on here! No the shows are about 35-40minutes of 2 shows pre-chart rundown from 10th sept and 24th sept, the first one Olympic-interruptions. Although I have the original reel-to-reel Ive nothing to play them on, so what I have is on cassette, mono (one speaker) and a bit of re-recordeding over tracks I bought subsequently on vinyl (the same tracks Fluff played, and with his intros.outros though) Stuff like Eagles, Edgar Winter Jo Jo Gunne Pearls... cheers john
