News on Boxing day that Eartha Kitt had passed on.
This rekindled memories as a child of how I used to find her eccentric and disturbing; and that my first memory of her that I can visualise was her maybe on 'GOLDEN SHOT' sometime between 1968 and 1970.
I recall her walking down steps rubbing her side against a pole in what looked like her nightie ruffled like a cape at the neck. Was it Eartha that did 'I - I - I - I like you very much'?
Can't recall the song; just her growling it; may have been 'BIG SPENDER' a cover of it. She would imrpovise and add in words like 'Tiger'; 'Yeh daddy' and such like.
Pretty sure this was Golden shot?

Was it Eartha that did 'I - I - I - I like you very much'? No, that was Carmen Miranda.
