Another shock to the system.This dramatisation by John Hawkesworth in ten 25 minute episodes on Orczy's story "The Elusive Pimpernel" looks facinating in the 1969 Radio Times.I wonder if the BBC will ever put it out on DVD,as Anton Rogers would Probably be marvelous as Percy Blackeney.Wait for it.......after a little research none of the episodes exist.I dont think I will look at back issues the Radio Times again as the facination often turns into disapointement and anger.

Mon ami,I would just like to say,ze pimpernel is as french as ze author who wrote it,and ze odd french pronounciation is to show ze stories location and atmosphere!.Also Rodgers not Rogers!.
