My private messages can be accessed with zero problems and I trust making this post won't be a problem either. Sounds like you might have some kind of a problem with your browser or a virus of some kind. Not wishing to be an alarmist, but, no... no problems for me here. Hope you can resolve the problem.
Just for the record I'm using Firefox 3.
