if you look at that (dutch) Tv report on him he "Could" have some stuff. but If he "really" did don't you think Apple,Yoko,BMG,Sony et all would be knocking his door down? but then seeing his "cellar" of film with some interesting titles he may just have.. But look at his ahem "Telecine" gear. I know the type.. Have fixed many of em. and converted a few in my time as a Film/Cinema Technician. Its rubbish producing very very poor images. with about 200 line (interlaced) image that usally has a hot spot in the centure of the image..
IF he does have anything, Its being "preserved" the Wrong way.
Has ANYONE contacted him? (i mean Dick Fiddy, not some Missing Ep Boy)
Maybe Mr Fiddy Should be told....

Just saw this.. He now claims to have the Holy Grial Of all Chaplin Films (this from last week) One of world largest film collector's the Dutchman Fenno Werkman owns the only copy in the world lasting 120 minutes. During the easterweekend I spoke him, no it's not because of the wrong speed in the exactly right speed this version lasts 120 minutes. On this adress you read a Dutch article: www.filmkrant.nl/av/org/filmkran/archief/fk241/ iffr2003.html scroll under in the page. His archive is used for many TV programmes about pop music and DVD like many Beatles / solo DVD's they need his archive. Johnny
