Hello All, Wanted to post this news here for you, if it is old news, and is already known about, then I apologies in advance for posting old information if that is indeed the case here. None the less, is still great historical TV coverage to view. "This video compares the TV converted 525 line transmission and the SLOW SCAN original TV filmed with a super 8mm at Honeysuckle-creek in Australia, the filmed part is of a 320 line monitor for the slow scan transmissions from Apollo 11 by Video Tech Ed von Renouard" Apparently during this historical broadcast Ed was working at the Honeysuckle TV receiving station of the 1969 moon landing feed that was being transmitted then to Sydney and on to Houston to decide on which signal was the best suitable for transmission. Deciding to pull out his 8mm camera took some footage of the transmission at the Honeysuckle station. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFTtOvaZZU0&fmt=18Below is a link posted to the Honeysuckle repeater station which is displaying here a feed of the 8mm Honeysuckle footage as well as that of ABC Sydney, also displays the transmission changes that took place from the various transmitters till the best possible quality could finally be obtained from the Parks station. But Ed at Honeysuckle kept filming till many minutes after the landing and return into the lunar module, shows some unique footage of which is thought even NASA does not have coverage for ! Here is the link, and clip to peruse, any thoughts, comments, info, etc please feel free to post. www.honeysucklecreek.net/Apollo_11/index.htmlCheers, Lance.
