Not strictly a missing episode, but a missing classic film. Its a very detailed story, but could just be a hoax.
What do you guys think?

The film has been missing a looooong time, and its revered as one of THE classics of the silent era. Would be nice if this turns out to be real.

hmm he hasnt actually found it has he? seems like you found it 20 years ago and let it slip through his fingers and is now trying to trace it. begs the question if he knew he had found something so important 20 years ago why he didnt ring alarm bells then. i dont think many people would have resealed the can and just put it back on the shelf

Yeah, its a bit suss isnt it. If he hadnt known the rarity of the print at the time it would be one thing, but in full knowledge, to let it pass like that.............

Well hopefully i'll be contentedly eating my hat in front of a restored DVD release, but probably not eh
