Hi My primary school (Bluebell Hill Primary - Nottingham) were featured on the above show which was aired on 31/3/79. Do you know if there would be anyway I could obtained a copy as I would love to show my family and sadly videos were not that popular then. Many Thanks Rebecca Nice

Rebecca,
My God - and I thought I was the only person left on the planet who actually remembers this show!!!
I'm no expert on archive TV by any means, but as I understand it, the situation is this:
1) If the 1979 show you're interested in was recorded (as opposed to a live transmission) it should still exist in the BBC archives.
2) If you can prove that you were actually involved in the show and if it does still indeed exist, then the BBC may be willing to run you off a personaly copy of said show - but don't expect it to be cheap, so I guess it depends on how much you'd be willing to pay / how badly you want a copy..
Given that "Rolf On Saturday ... OK" will most probably never see the light of day on DVD (boxed set with optional commentary by Rolf, anyone?!) and is unlikely ever to be repeated, this is probably your best and only shot at getting hold of that particular episode.
So my suggestion would be to contact the BBC directly in the first instance.
Just my 2p's worth - some of the more knowledgeable guys here may have another suggestion or may know things that I don't.

yes there is a 'contributor's access dept' still based at BBC Glasgow I think ?
they should do you a DVD for about £130
Andrew Martin (a member here) is the main man to ask.

Yes, this edition does exist (I have a feeling all of RoSOK does exist...). You can contact contributor.access@bbc.co.uk and they will give you details of how you can obtain a copy.
