I watching an episode of 'The Sandbaggers' the other night and a reference made me suddenly recall another spy drama which I later found out to be 1971 Play of the Month called 'Act of Betrayal'. Does anybody whether this is still in the BBC archive or even at outside chance available as a video release?

This is a different play altogether from "Traitor". "Act of Betrayal" was a play about the early 60s Portland spy case, seen through the eyes of the next door neighbours of a couple who were spying for the Russians - the neighbours were asked to allow the security services keep tabs on the spies, but were in two minds about it because they had become friends with them. The play does exist in the archive, though it has not been released on DVD or VHS.

I found a site that said 'Act of Betrayal' - VHS. But there was no link available. I thought it may have been this release.
