I think that's what it was called. I recall its broadcast sometime around 1978 and it would probably have been on BBC2.
My memory is hazy now but it was a surreal musical adventure featuring the ever-delightful Madeline Smith and two gents whose names escape me.
Does anyone else remember this series?

That was indeed the title - 6 episodes shown 17/1/78 to 21/2/78 on BBC2. Also starred John Fortune, John Wells and Carl Davis (the composer). All 6 episodes still exist in the BBC archive. A sequel of sorts to the 1974 series "The End of the Pier Show".
