No, it is NOT on "Lost In Time" which focuses solely on the black and white era. It is however on the "The Doctors - 30 Years Of Time Travel and Beyond" along with home movie footage from "The Smugglers" (no sign of Hartnell sadly), "The Abominable Snowmen" (not sure whose footage since theres apparently two home movies of the location shoot - Frazer Hines' film was unavailable for "Lost In Time") and "Shada".
It was released by Waterfall Home Entertainment and is a very poor quality VHS to DVD port.

The footage from Abominable was shot by the director Gerald Blake I believe. The other material was indeed shot by Frasier Hines, and sections were released on his edition of Myth Makers. I believe the footage Frasier Shot depicted some naughty jokes, which he played on the director in particular. I have heard similar naughty jokes he and Pat used to play on the cast and crew. Such as when Wendy Padbury was interviewed for the Cybermen: The Early Years VHS she stated that she had fallen asleep in a church ( as that is the location for their filming then ) and Pat and Frasier had unbuttoned her skirt. Then they jostled her and yelled " your on, your on". She bolted out of her seat leaving her skirt behind her, and ran into the vicker stating " good day vicker" in her nickers no less, that must of been embarrassing, but I bet Pat and Frasier were laughing their heads off.
If you are carefull you can spot Hartnell's double sitting on the back of a lorry though. Paul Witsun Jones is seen riding a horse as well, and Chereub got to have his legs greased and massaged by a BBC lady, lucky him. The Smugglers footage was shot by the owner of the farm where they were shooting the story, it was made on 16mm Ectachrome color film.
Anyway, I would think that the BBC is waiting for the Daemons to be released on DVD, and use the material as an extra, hopefully with some commentary as the footage is silent. Something to look out for, in the meantime we can enjoy the footage that is on you-tube.
Cheers, Lance.

Thanks Lance. I had forgotten who shot the "Abominable Snowman" film and had been wracking my brains trying to recall who it was!

I believe the footage Frasier Shot depicted some naughty jokes, which he played on the director in particular. Not really. There's a brief sequence of Hines using the clapperboard and Blake pretending to get his willy caught as it closes, but it's clear in the footage at he's as much (if not more) responsible for the gag than Hines is! That's the make-up artist applying coloured make up to Cooper's legs. He's supposed to be a swarthy pirate, not a Brit on his hols! ;D Richard

That Daemons cine film footage is fascinating. I wonder how long it'll be though before "The Daemons" appears on DVD. I know I'm not holding my breath.

According to the Restoration Team, Daemons (plus the two other re-colourised stories, The Silurians, Terror of the Autons) will not be on DVD until such time as the colouring technology improves so they can do new and improved recolourisation from scratch, since the footgae done for the VHS tapes is not of DVD quality. Thanks for that Jon. Like I said - I'm not holding my breath!! But hopefully they'll get round to it before most of us are drawing our pensions. I'm rueing my foolish short-sightedness now in selling my official BBC "Autons" and "Daemons" videos - having burned them onto crappy 'Sky' brand DVD-Rs which turned into coasters in no time (an expensive but valuable lesson learned there). Which just leaves me now with the UK Gold omnibus versions.
