in my house i have a 30 minute tv programme. however 10 minutes is shot by cinecamera in black and white 10 minutes was recorded onto vt in colour the last 10- minutes is audio only.
do dr who episodes exist like this too? what happens when they are / were found like this how are they edited back together? is there an episode like this where 85%+ is about but in many differing formats?
ps my prog is not rare or missing - i was experimenting

Some complete episodes like The Daleks Masterplan (certainly episode 2) released on the 'Lost In Time' DVD used superior existing film clips at certain times rather than just using the complete existing Telecine recording. There are also Pertwee episodes that have only been found in B/W but some colour clips exist. On the 'Mind Of Evil' VHS release they were after the six episodes rather than inserted. For missing episodes of course reconstructions have put clips, stills etc. together with the audio. I prefer to have complete episodes or just the audio (not even that long clip in 'Galaxy 4' !)
