I posted this awhile back on the general thread. Maybe it would have been better off being here!
There has been lots of postings about looking for missing episodes - naturally, but has anyone thought about building an online Search Catalogue that lists where has been searched and who has been contacted. Listing dates/times etc. In that way, wouldn't it make an end of cross searching and people saying 'We should search here.' or 'Has anyone contacted this person?' In the long run, it may speed up the search.
It did get a few responses there. Would this work here?

I was thinking the exact same thing also a list of known hoaxers Darren Gregory being at the top of the list followed by Andrew Ainsworth and "Roger Barrett". What a crazy business. Also add in the list of rumours and hoaxes that I saw on Fatso the Wombat's website.

I guess it would have to be either here on on a seperate web page. Just somewhere where everyone - that wants to - have access. There would have to be certain considerations though I feel. It would have to be moderated by someone fully trustworthy. All info would go to that person and only they can update the file. It would be pointless if loads of people had access as so would the hoaxers and straight away we're looking at info being corrupred. In that respect, I feel the moderator would have to be someone who has a bit of clout in these circles as everything would have to be verified before going into the file.
That's all I can think of at the moment.

yes thats true, I hadn't considered that the people running it would have to be trusted by everyone else,( perhaps if three people signed off on all the information ?), something to think about though.
