Yes.
The chap selling it frequents these very boards, and has returned several episodes of other shows to the archives.
(I say this to nip in the bud any suggestions that he might have missing DW material; he does not.)

No, but he does have a lot of Doctor Who episodes. Largest private collection. (Oh how I envy him!). He makes my collection positively tiny. (Size envy, it gets to us all)

How do you know what he has and that it's the largest private collection? Are you sure he doesn't have anything missing? Which episodes does he have?

Because I have coresponded with him & he has already returned material to the BBC. It would be silly to return some stuff but not others. He is known to the RT & respected.

Ah, just the person! Was "Scott on..." it not a sitcom? (Having not seen any of it, I really don't know; just seeing the name I assumed... but then we all know what happens when you assume.)

Scott On .... was not a sitcom, rather a sketch comedy/variety show - but with a speciifc topic each week. So for example we have "Scott on Superstition" or "Scott on Food" or "Scott on Christmas" etc. He'd have sketches and songs relating to the specific topics.
