Hey David, did you start going to high school at Brisbane State High ? No, I'm english, and live in America. I'm meeting with my friend next weekend, so I'll see if he might have any connections with Iranian TV archives. I'll keep you posted.

Well, I've yet to meet anyone who has watched something before they were born but I guess anything can happen... ;D Seriously though... believe it or not: many of us here are a bit longer in the tooth than some might think. We're not all young, inexperienced teenage/twenty-somethings... Hiya Bevan! One of my earliest DW memories (from NZ TV) was The Tenth Planet part 4 - so, yeah, there are indeed some of us who actually saw missing episodes before they went missing! Jon

I have a friend who is a TV director, and who, amongst other things, did some work for various middle eastern TV stations, with whom he still has contacts. I gave him a quick overview of the situation with the missing/destroyed film reels, and he said he'd be happy to use his connections to make enquiries if I thought it a good idea. Now, here my knowledge ends. I'm presuming that some countries have been checked to some degree, but in others it hasn't been possible. It's also well within the realms of possibility that this chap might have an 'in' at an otherwise inaccessible station overseas. Any information you can give me would be useful. This director friend IS a media pro, and not just some fanboy who'd be calling up and bothering people. Yeah, David I think I know you as well -- Brisbane State High

Yeah, you guys are right. Lance. well in the future it may be possible to read brainwave patterns from people such as young Lance here and use that data to recontruct past memories in a visual form. a la quatermass and the pit's opticencephalograph

Yeah - the only (now missing) episodes I saw were those from the 1970s. Still, the fact that you saw many missing 1960s episodes is nowhere near as annoying as the fact that you still have more hair than I do. ;D

Personally I would take anything LanceM says with a pinch of salt. There seem to be inconsistencies within some of his postings. Also the general tone/grammar/syntax of those postings seem to indicate a youngish mind/personality.
I would be inclined to treat his recent episode recovery hints with the same degree of caution.

Lance has mentioned that he was under the US legal drinking age in previous posts. He's stated that he's a freshman at Boise State University in Idaho (the land of the blue football field). I'm hopeful he's found something, but I am not going full out with an optimistic ending to this. But for right now, I don't think he's a hoaxer.

I think that he has definately come up with a lead but as to what this lead eventuates to is anyones guess.
