Just a thought about the incomplete stories that did not appear on Lost in Time. If I understand this correctly they included stories where only 50% or less of their material was known to exist.
The other stories that are nearly complete such as The Reign of Terror (1,2,3,6), The Tenth Planet (1,2,3), The Ice Warriors (1,4,5,6) and The Invasion (2,3,5,6,7,8) could be released on DVD in a similar way as The Crusade and The Moonbase were completed on the LIT set, using audio to plug the gaps. The missing Warriors material could even be given the reconstruction treatment!
Are there currently any plans for this to happen?

The four you mention were released on VHS some years ago (with "The Tenth Planet" and "The Ice Warriors" including "reconstructions" of their missing episodes).
As for the question of these being released on DVD...? It's bound to happen sooner or later...

Yes, I should have made that more clear, I meant on DVD. I have the Tenth Planet release but I've never been able to track down a copy of The Ice Warriors one. I refuse to pay 60$ or more Australian dollars through EBay for a used VHS item! I also found The Invasion video to be rather poor in quality compared to some of the other releases.
I wasn't really impressed with The Tenth Planet reconstructed episode 4. By the way - why aren't the telesnaps for that story on the BBC photnovel site?

I think we'll find the BBC/RTeam are holding off releasing incomplete stories for now - just in case the 'missing' bits turn up ...! Jon

That's an interesting thought. I suppose the ones most likely to be completed are The Reign of Terror, The Crusade and The Tenth Planet as not only are they only missing two episodes each, but they were sold to a lot more countries than the Troughton stories. Is there a place on the web or a book that actually lists the figures for official sales to other countries for Hartnell and Troughton adventures?
I suppose the return of The Daleks Masterplan 2 undermines this argument (as it wasn't sold overseas at all). It's very frustrating that The Moonbase, and particularly The Ice Warriors and The Invasion are so close to completion and yet so far. Still I take it that it's an accepted fact that Hartnells are more likely to be returned than Troughtons - that certainly has been the truth up until now or am I wrong?

Yep - that's pretty much the size of it... ...although the "Tomb" find in '91 surprised everyone - none of us thought that would EVER turn up! (complete too!)
