Hi all, Anyone know the name of any companies who were hired to skip/destroy/landfill BBC property, ie telerecordings etc?
Does any BBC documentation note any independant skip company etc?
Thanks Dave

hello to you we did this a while ago(at xmass I think, you may be able to find it on the older pages) and the consensus was that the films are probably destroyed either by crushing or water damamage(landfills are pumped full of water and compacted aparently), I still think there is a chance of something surviving but who knows I'm sure the rest will give you their opinion shortly the best chance of survival is probably by landfill workers or lorry companies taking film before it got onto the land fill. If you contributed to this in the past please forget everything above.
