Lance, have you heard back from the person in the Cayman Islands yet? They just got hit by the hurricane/ tropical storm this past week...and we've been getting the leftovers today here in Metro Atlanta. Fun.
I would hope the broadcast stations have their archived footage in a safe place, but somehow I'm not hopeful about it.

Hmmm... you never know - that hurricane may have just swept away several episodes of "Fury from the Deep".
If the same storm's on its way to you then they might be whistling their way to your door. Better get ready with a big net...

Better get ready with a big net... If Atlanta were on the coast I'd be worried. Since it's nowhere near the shore, I doubt we'll be getting the winds the storm picked up. We usually only end up with thunderstorms up here. And you're getting hurricanes messed with tornadoes, which can deposit property miles away from where it hits. Those can be big trouble in Georgia. One hit the Govenor's Mansion thirty years ago. |

Hope all concerned are not too affected and all damage and injury is minimal. Lots of luck to them.

I have not heard back yet from the Cayman Islands. I was currious if the Restoration Team has contacted the Cayman Government concerning this matter ? Or would the team like me to send another e-mail to the Caymans? Please leave a reply back soon.

Honestly, I don't think the RT really gives that much of a darn to be contacting the Caymans. But keep trying. BTW: are you contacting a generic Cayman govt. official, or someone connected with whatever television network is down there? I did a little casual searching a month or so ago, but I've forgotten the actual name of the broadcaster. Might be a better place to contact down there. |
