Now that the new show is currently under way, it now has the chance to appeal to Newer (younger hopefuly) veiwers, is there anybody from the DWAP present at filming?, (perhaps to give good advice & keep up standards). One point I dont think anybodys mentioned...whos going to play the `Master?`

don't know but it apears the DALEKS will no longer say "Exterminate" too tacky apparently, and if you beleive that youl beleive anything I smell a publicty stunt, perhaps one will marry britney spears

Mind you she looks like a Dalek!!...heh heh....(only Jokeing)...but William could be right, seems like another attempt to change them....could it be since Mike Grade is now at the Helm?...everybody knows he has a reputation for hateing DW.....I say keep them as they are, the worst thing to happen? give them an American acccent, with an "F U" attitude...God help us.....

"Ex.ter.min.ate" "res.is.tance is usel.ess" "pop. a .la.zer. cap . in. yo . a*s"? could work
I still think its a publicity stunt like them not being in at all ther'll be another rumour in a month or so
what about bill nighy as the master? he was on the short list to play dr who and he is the flavour of the month

I guess they'll want to stamp their own identity on the program without alienating the fans, so probably a jazzed up version of the tv series tardis (probably one of the baker versions), but lets hope they don't get too involved in series continuity, who cares what happened in episode 12 series 3 or whatever, I know many fans do care but a little flexibility can make for a more interesting story.
and why does the forum name me as "1" on the index for this page? flattered and all that but confused.

I think you wil find that as the writers and producers are all huge fans then you need not worry about the standards being very high. I am speaking from experience here, without giving anything away, the scripts are sharp, intelligent and witty. The team are also respectful to the old series but are making their own mark and bringing the show into the 21st century, with effects and sets that you would expect from a show with a very good budget. I look forward to February with baited breath.
