Hi to all Dr Who fans who don't already know this. I've just found out on MSN news that Dr Who series is returning next year featuring a new Doctor acted by Christopher Eccleston. No, but it would make a lot of people happy and really give the show a nostalgia boost if the episodes did go missing straight after broadcast. To me the new series will just not be right unless it is produced as one take on 405 VT and then telecined to 16mm, the resulting master left in a damp storeroom for a couple of years before being distributed to various film collectors to be ripped apart by their Bell & Howells and then delievered to be archived at TV Sudan

Clive -- You insult the integrity of 16mm film collectors. Shame on you...
P.S. Most of us DO NOT use B&H projectors to run our 16mm prints of missing Dr. Who episodes... I will only run my print of "Fury from the Deep" on a 1940s RCA projector...

I converted the RCA to run from a common Flashlight bulb.
It also plays DVDs, but not very well -- all I can ever see is a rainbow.....
