Just a tip-off about the 2 different DVD versions of Seven Little Australians (1973): I'm glad I read some of the amazon reviews before ordering.
The Australian Region 4 one is the one to get; the Region 1 US/Canada release omits the last 2 episodes. Since the episodes survive (the Australian edition is complete), I can only think the US distributors don't believe their young viewers can handle the tragic climax...
