One of the best British sitcoms of all-time, The Likely Lads focuses on the friendship between two working-class men, James Bolam and Rodney Bewes, living in the north east of England. Bob (Bewes) is the 'sensible' one, doing his best to get on with his job and 'better' himself. Terry (Bolam) is the 'irresponsible' one, intent on living life to the full. He's forever getting himself (and Terry) into trouble of one kind or another... Episodes Comprise: 1. Entente Cordiale 2. Double Date 3. Older Women Are More Experienced 4. The Suitor 5. The Last Of The Big Spenders 6. Rocker 7. Goodbye To All That Want to buy this title? order it through the products page on the main site (www.missing-episodes.com) and we will get a small commision.

Ok, a question about this release... Nice as it is to have it, there's one first season episode that was in the archives back in the 1990s, The Other side of the Fence, that isn't on it, and ISTR that a second season episode, Where Have All the Flowers Gone, was reported recovered last year. Anyone know anything about why they're not on the DVD?

Sorry if I've wasted anyone's time, and check out the TV forum if interested!

I'm told "Other Side of the Fence" is probably going to be an extra on the "Whatever Happened" discs (but don't blame me if it isn't!). "Where Have All the Flowers Gone" hasn't been recovered, but there is a clip in existence from it. The DVD release could have been done a lot better really, there are audio recordings of several missing episodes, plus the proper radio versions, and some clips, not to mention "Christmas Night With the Stars", which could have all made a second disc worthwhile.
