The very first three Doctor Who stories ever transmitted together in a boxed set.
An Unearthly Child - The very first episode ever shown, introducing William Hartnell as the Time Lord from Gallifrey, exiled to wander time and space in his TARDIS. On Earth in 1963, the doctor's granddaughter Susan's unearthly knowledge excites the interest of two of her teachers, who soon find themselves back in the Ice Age as their strange new friend battles tribal leaders searching for the miracle of fire.
The Daleks - The Daleks first appearance in Doctor Who. The Doctor lands the Tardis on the planet Skaro where two indigenous races live - the Daleks and the peace-loving Thals. The Doctor convinces the Thals of their need to fight for survival and braving Skaro's many dangers they launch a two-pronged attack on Dalek City.
The Edge Of Destruction - After their skirmish with the Daleks, the TARDIS crew hurriedly leave the planet Skaro in an attempt to return to contemporary England, home to schoolteachers Ian and Barbara. However, an explosion renders both of them, plus the mysterious doctor and his granddaughter Susan, unconscious - and when they awake, all four sense that something is very wrong indeed. Aggression, paranoia and a feeling of despair have gripped them all - no one seems to trust the other and, bit-by-bit, the Doctor's trusted ship seems to be breaking down around them. But is it? Has the TARDIS finally tired of its inhabitants, or is there a more logical, more rational explanation for everyone's behaviour and the ship's bizarre course of action?
