several do as far as I know, for example all the pink floyd sessions from 1967-69 exist as well as most if not all of the procul haurm sessions there is a complete archive from 1992 onwards www.vheissu.freeserve.co.uk/ as for complete shows I don't know, there will undoubtedly be many off air recordings.

Not all the Peel sessions exist from Top Gear onwards. For instance, the first couple of Pink Floyd sessions are missing - they only exist as poor quality off-air microphone recordings. Many other sessions are missing too, including (e.g.) The Bonzos and loads more. Some do survive though from the early days but i've no idea how many. It's patchy at best. As you get to the '70s - particularly by the punk era - many more survive than from the '60s (I doubt if they all do though), as proved by many releases in the Peel Sessions series.
As for complete shows, I expect a handful do officially (probably some from later years), although this is only a guess. I'm sure there are plenty out there recorded by listeners though (and in good quality for later years, as the home technology improved).

I believe there is a missing Nick Drake session which nobody has been able to track down as well.

How did the B.B.C. lose those records John Peel had his sessions on? They can't have wiped them if they were on vynil. Did someone skip them or make of with them? I wouldn't have thought that Peel would let the BBC get rid of them. Perhaps someone wanted them in their collection, in which case the masters must exist
