Shyster, Flywheel & Shyster

This was based on a Marx Bros Show, broadcast a few years back...anyone know if you can get hold of it?, Also did the Marx Bros ever do any programmes over here? Eg:- 1940`s onwards?...if so, do any of them exist?

I gather that Flywheel, Shyster and Flywheel (wasn't it that way round? All rather a long time ago now, so I may be wrong) was made because none of the original shows existed. Hadn't the Marx Bros disbanded by the 1940s? If they had appeared on British radio, it would probably have been as part of some variety show like Monday Night at Eight. I don't think much pre-war variety survives, simply because it was all live.

There is one surviving complete episode of "Flywheel, Shyster, and Flywheel" (the 5/22/1933 edition), and fragments of one or two others.
