BBC Treasure Hunt

I've recently given the BBC Treasure Hunt a good deal of material and they were brilliant about it. They have even given me tapes of the material after they restored it too.

I had several boxes of my granfathers off-air recordings, documentaries as well as comedies, so was left with many items when he died.

The BBC Treasure Hunt team were very good and even showed me how it all works in the restoring process!

John, would you care to tell us what they showed you abotu the restoration process as I am sure many here would be very interested. Did they restore a show while you were there, what sort of equipment do they use, were the results good, and what was it you were able to return - perhaps we will see a list of it on the Treasure Hunt site.

I don't like to gripe but the BBC's Treasure Hunt site is a disgrace.
For a company that supposedly makes a big deal about getting material back, there have been no updates or modifications to episode lists since November 2001.
A real disappointment in my opinion.
Could you reveal what you returned as I guess the Treasure Hunt site will never bother to list it.
