It was Professor Prune and the Electric Time Trousers which ran all through the 13 shows of series 6 (12.1.1969 to 6.4.1969) If you're looking into the series I'd recommend the guide on Roger Wilmut's site at. home.clara.net/rfwilmut/research/notes.htmlKev P

has anyone heard them and are they any good? Hello all, I'm not quite sure which editions of ISIRTA are still held by the Beeb; I saw recently on the BBC7 message board that the reason they have gone back to repeating the shows again is that they have already played every show in the Beeb's archives. This isn't quite true, because they haven't yet broadcast the 'Dentisti' show, which I heard on radio 4 in the early eighties. Even collectors of OTR mp3 cd's don't seem to have anything from the 1969 series which features 'The Electric Time Trousers',and I've never heard anything from that series on radios 2 or 4. There must at least be some transcription discs out there somewhere-you would think the Beeb would know where they were sold?.

I've picked up copies of all the Electric Time Trousers eps on the MP3 circuit. All of varying sound quality. So they do knock about. As to BBC7 they have said they don't have access to all the BBC archives - so hopefully all the existing episodes are held in an archive they can't use. Ceri.

funnily enough, I made up a two CD set early last year of just the Prof.Prune stuff, great listening. Nice to hear the lot in one go too. And yes, the BBC Transcription Service certainly DOES have the master tapes for the entire TS releases of ISIRTA. I know, I used to be in charge of the TS Tape Library!!

;Dnice I would like to hear them all, perhaps the bbc could do something like putting them on the web site ,like I said above, or perhaps putting them with one of the audio releases?

There's no chance of that happening. If they are going to be made available then it'll be as an audio release.
Perhaps BBC Worldwide will release the existing ISIRTA editions from each series as a box set along the lines of the Hanthingy, Round The Horne & Navy Lark releases.

When I contacted BBC Spoken Word a few years ago about releasing more ISIRTA, I was told they couldn't release anymore (beyond the already released 4 volumes) due to copyright problems.
