The Cliff track 'visions' is not a studio performance but a promotional film. (not sure if it was filmed especially for totp). The copy in circulation is mute but could easily be re-dubbed.
Yes, it was a TOTP clip and could also be re-dubbed.

these two shows may exist also 09/07/70 18/04/74 There has long been a rumour that 9-7-70 exists. Pickettywitch from that show was scheduled to be on a TOTP2 a few years back, but was pulled before it went out. Not sure if this means it exists or couldn't be found at the time. I thought 18-4-74 had only a couple of inserts remaining, namely "The Golden Age Of Rock And Roll" by Mott The Hoople, which has been seen before on TOTP2 on at least 3 occasions.

There's an insert clip from 9/7/70 existing, which contains the Pickettywitch performance. Think it includes Tony Blackburn's intro too.

these episodes are also listed in pete seatons collection though its unclear the quality of them. i would very much like to see these again as they werent repeated on uk gold. 10 Years of pop 27/12/73 15/08/74 13/03/75 Christmas 1975 Part 2 25/12/75 I have the 10th Anniversary edition a couple of generations down, but it looks as though the original must be near broadcast quality. It's certainly full 625 colour anyway.

The original IS broadcast quality as it's in the BBC archives!

A few errors here: for instance, 20/7/70 doesn't exist complete and you missed 26/2/70. Why list certain ones as owned by the BBC though? They all are. A browse of the past TOTP-related threads will give you the info you require as this topic been covered many times and you can find the setails you require.

A very useful database and an excellent lot of research has gone into it as well!! Just a few queries though that someone may already know the answers to - The 1965 performances of Jonathan King, Sonny & Cher, The Byrds & Hermans Hermits are shown as 3 different shows - given they all have intros from Jimmy Saville (check the "Sounds of the Sixties" series) surely they are all from the 19/08/65 show as this was the only one of the 3 where he hosted (using the KAL guide as a reference the other two mentioned shows are hosted by David Jacobs & Pete Murray). I know the Sonny & Cher is from a film, and the Byrds is a repeat performance from obviously a previous show, but I think the host intros sort of give it away. Why are these clips in such exceptional condition compared to some of the other surviving 1960's performances? On a different note, the 29/02/68 performance of Tom Jones "Delilah" as shown on Sounds of the Sixties appears to be displayed on a large screen and relayed to another show as they constantly cut back & forth to the dancers on both shows. What was this 2nd show? Regards Brett

Three quarters of the Sonny & Cher clip is in VT the rest switches to film - the other clips you mentioned inc Stevie Wonder 'Uptight' and Del Shannon 'Keep Searchin' etc are exceptional quality as they survive on Videotape rather than a telerecording.
Delilah survives as it was included on 'Pop Goes The Sixties' made at the end of 1969 - it's the crowd in the studio you see dancing

Can anyone who has this edition confirm that Wizzard's Angel Fingers Listing is indeed a Totp Appearance in the studio and if so how long is it? or maybe post it on You Tube ?
Also i thought i have seen the Delilah totp app in it's original form without the studio dancers. Can anyone else confirm it? Maybe shown on Totp2?
