Does anyone have any memories of DISCO, a pop/quiz show hosted by Terry Wogan in the mid 70s? Would love to know what exists of this, and if any other copies are circulating. Managed to find references to 2 surviving editions on the BBC database: catalogue.bbc.co.uk/catalogue/infax/programme/LON9012Y

I do remember it - they recycled some questions from a radio quiz show broadcast a few months earlier, the last in the round of the "spot which is the anonymous cover version" questions was a catch, because neither of the 2 clips played was Engelbert Humperdinck!

I recall it too - was it on Sunday afternoons? Amazingly (of the two editions which seem to survive), I recall watching the one with 5000 Volts very well!

Yes, that's on one of the surviving editions - recorded at the Sands Discotheque in Luton, though having seen the programme not too long ago all I can say is they might as well have done it from a studio!
