Excellent Ronnie Lane clip! Do you have any other deleted totp shows maybe August 73 or 75 and 76?

Sorry, no complete shows from that era, but always on the look out. Here is a clip of the New Seekers from the missing 21/2/74 edition: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssc4xo7zqZ0New Seekers - I get a little sentimental Brian

Hi Guys, newbie here. Been reading these threads with interest and loving the TOTP clips posted to YouTube.
My first memory of TOTP was watching Rod Stewart performing You Wear It Well at No.1 and (apparentely) reading the words from a scrap of paper!
Anyway, I digress. What I want to know is why Eve Graham is not in the "Sentimental" clip above? I thought the New Seekers didn't break up until May 1974? Also are you sure the clip is from 21/2/74? Reading my chart book that song was still 2 weeks away from entering the chart that week. A better fit would be 21/3/74 as it had risen to No. 6 by then.. Just a thought.
Is it from the same show that spawned the Queen - Seven Seas of Rhye clip?

Off the top of my head I recall that there was at least one line-up change in the New Seekers before their final demise. It may even have been mentioned in a totp link I think.

Hi Wellieman and welcome to the board! I have been given the date in good confidence so think it is right, but then again who knows!! I think it is the same show as the Queen - Seven seas clip. Maybe, someone has it in color!!! Brian

Thanks for these and the other clips Brian, much appreciated. You don't happen to have the Bowie 'Jean Genie' performance from 4th Jan 1973 (?) or Lulu's 'Man Who Sold The World' from early 1973 (Others here will know the dates)? Thanks again, Tim Again

No, I'm afraid not, the only Bowie I have is the Starman clip from 72. I have never even seen Jean Genie but would love to get hold of it.

Man who sold the world was early 74 perhaps 10/1/74? IIRC
