Some of the recordings are listed as being missing from the TOTP tv show. Looks like an off-air-recording. I would deffinitely check with the BBC, to see if these are presented in thier archives or not. Then , see where to go after that.

Caution chaps! This is the BBC radio show, and most of these exist.
This seller, if the rumours are correct, is transferring vintage shows onto reel- the ones I got from him ages back had no annoucements either side of the shows but they DID have disc crackle!

Yes... one should always be cautious. Sounds like the seller is selling a recording of a transcription disc that I believe is illegal to sell.
The Yardbirds tracks have been officially released though none of the others have. Would particularly love to hear "William Chalkers Time Machine" though... great song!

He gets old reels and dubs existing stuff on them! Avoid at all costs and spread the word! |
