Hi Andrew
Does the edition of Top Of The Pops from 9/9/82 with Peter Powell exist in archives? It is not listed in the totp database?

I believe that this actual 9-9-82 edition was thought missing for years, but as no wipings took place after 1977, it was generally thought to be misfiled at the BBC somewhere and it seemed it was just that and found in the last couple of years.

Certainly none of it has ever been seen on TOTP2 either (certainly since 1997 anyway), which suggests this is the case.
Regards
Mark

There's no evidence for this episode being missing at any time - the 2" master tape was transferred to D3 in 1996, the dubs have been available for use ever since... no idea why they haven't been!
