Does anyone know the current archive status of the Francis Matthews series?
The Beep junked most of theirs, but I think the German dubs still survive.

BBC has:
16; GAMES PEOPLE PLAY 30; CORRIDA 33; THE SPECIALISTS 34; HAS ANYBODY HERE SEEN KELLY? 36; MOTEL 37; CUE MURDER! 38; DEATH OF FASCHING 39; CATCH YOUR DEATH 42; RICOCHET 43; WITH FRIENDS LIKE YOU, WHO NEEDS ENEMIES? 45; THE QUICK AND THE DEAD
all on colour vt, (though, apart from the open/closing captions, GAMES PEOPLE PLAY is an all film production), and all repeated, (in varying degrees of "unedited-ness" on UKGold).
As b/w 16mm telerecordings:
48; THE GUILTY MUST DIE 49; GAME, SET AND MATCH 50; LONG RIDE TO RED GAP 51; WINNER TAKES ALL 52; CRITICS, YES! BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS!
Apart from the opening series of 13, the other three series does exist as dubbed German colour film recordings: its possible that English language tape copies do too.
The existing eps are hugely entertaining, but it bears little relation to the BBC Radio serials.

its possible that English language tape copies do too. Would be fab. I think the series was also sold to Sweden. Scandinavians often do not dub, but show things subtitled. So perhaps the english audio track would be unaffected.
