On Totp's 2 on U.K G2 today they showed a clip I hadn't seen before of Rufus Thomas singing walking the dog. It says the clip is from August 74, but there is no trace of this track on the data base. Has anyone got any ideas why they haven't listed it. The clip was definitely from Totp's so it should be listed

I recall an appearence c. 1970 for 'DO THE FUNKY CHICKEN'; Rufus Thomas. It always stuck in my mind due to the eccentric title.
This was shown on TOP OF THE POPS, but featured the artist in a live concert film. I always wondered what the source was, as it must have been bought in; so though the edition would be wiped, presumably the clip would still be available?
I'm also wondering if the band RUFUS who had the hit 'TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD' in 1975; had anything to do with him? That's another clip I'd like to see, if one exists.

That was the Rufus that featured Chaka Khan as lead singer (prior to her solo career.) No relation to Rufus Thomas as far as I know.
