4. THE NEW CHRISTY MINSTRELS First and only TOTP studio appearance : "I'll Coat Your Mind With Honey", 10/8/67 Folk group formed in 1961 by Randy Sparks. Members over the years included Barry McGuire, Gene Clark, Kenny Rogers and Kim Carnes. They scored a UK No.5 EP with "Three Wheels On My Wagon", as well as three US Top 30 hits, but no UK singles chart success of any kind.

???was it 1964 or 65 three wheels was released over here.iseem to recall hearing it weekends on the radio a lot.

Their version of "We Need a Little Christmas" usually gets a lot of play during the Christmas season. Don't know if Kenny Rogers or Kim Carnes appear on that version, though
