Courtesy of my brother-in -law, i have 25/2/71 & 4/3/71 on audio reel to reel, with full DJ links though i think he may have edited out Frankie Howard`s "Up Pompeii" from the 4/3/71 edition. He even left the tape running at the end of both TOTP`s and it has the BBC announcer waffle for a bit before they go into around 5 minutes each of "The Liver Birds" comedy series.

I only have the 20/2/72 POTP`s with DJ links for the top 5 only Stephen, again courtesy of my bro-in-law. That`s the only POTP`s i found on all 4 of his 4-track reel to reel tapes.

I did however find 3 Tom Browne chart shows from September 1973 and November 1973. One was a top 18 only from 15/9/73 and for some reason , both the others started at #16 & #15, the last 2 being 11/11/73 & 25/11/73 meaning a few 'double-up`s' like "Daytona Demon" and "Dyna-mite" , the latter being at #4 on the first recording, dropping to #5, then going back up to #4 on the second recording. Hopefully i will find some more gems when i get a load of his old cassettes to investigate shortly.

Mistake time, there is only one "Daytona Demon", but there are 'double up`s' of a few others including "Dyna-mite", "Sorrow", "Photograph", "Let Me In" and a couple of others.

I have just dug out some old reel to reel tapes but unfortunately have no machine to play them on. Some of the tapes are marked TOTP inc the 500th edition from Oct 1973. No idea what sound quality is like but thought it might be of interest.
