That Bee Gees clip was horribly cropped, compared to recent showings!
(I know that's what they do now, but it was still awful !)
And they edited Take That too, didn't they?
The only clip I kept for my personal archive was the 'Singin In The Rain' clip.
Everything else was crap(inc that bl**dy Frog !), or I already have!

I thought it was the worst show since it changed channel. Lulu was trying too hard to be 'down with the kids' and I don't think she had a clue what she was saying half the time!

So 17 years down the line and some clever producer has done what I first suggested in my campaign to have archive stuff shown on the current show. It's took a long time, BUT DO THEY HAVE TO SHOW US THE SAME BORING CLIPS, what about some "NEW" old stuff that aint been seen in years, there's loads of it. Totp has been CRAP for years don't even watch/ record the xmas shows now either.

A good point regarding the "same old clips" and with them being butchered as well... I genuinely believe we have entered the final days of TOTP... the show is appalling, lost many viewers, on at a ridiculous time and I don't think it'll be long before the plug will be pulled altogether. A sad sorry end to the show but the BBC has tried several times over the years to kill off the show and this time I think they're finally going to succeed. Very sad.

fewer than 1million viewers apparently, I'm sure they could show the clips in 4:3 on a neutral background perhaps with all the banners at the sides instead of all over the picture.
