I finally got the 1980 TOTP with olivia hosting
it seams a friend of mine has a friend who was madness fan who used to work at the BBC ,who grabbed it a few years ago .so its on its way to me today.
i dont know if its got numbers on it but i know its the full show.
just goes to show that you dont allways look for the performer you want to find a show.

i got this show in the other day
its very good quality.
its from bbc masters is seams as it has the date recorderd at the front of it and some other stuff on the screen before the show starts.
ther is one bit in the middle where it seams there was a sloppy edit whitch i imagine didnt go to air that way. but It is complete 35 mins.

i know those tracks mentioned as they were on a c90 tape i once had recorded from radio one top 40.

yep thats the setlist neil mentioned, it was filmed on the 17th(it has the recording date on the slate at the start), to be played the next day.
there was some strike at the BBC at the time and the host aplogized for some things .
i dont think there is an audience in this show.
